Date Night Romantic Movie Ideas

Date nights are an important part of any relationship. You and your partner need to take time to reconnect and devote time to growing and nurturing your commitment to one another. Showing your children that your relationship is a priority is also very important. Remember your children are learning through you how to treat their marriage one day.

When our kids were smaller, date nights out of the house weren’t always possible. We didn’t have a lot of childcare options or money for that fact. The out of house dates were often paid for through the mystery shopping side hustles I would sign up for. Getting paid to eat at nice restaurant and have a night out with my husband was a win for all of us.

We had to get creative and have date nights when we could sneak the kids off to Grandma’s house or after they went to bed. Watching Romantic Movies, eating popcorn, laughing and talking to each other was the perfect date night for many years during our marriage. Now that we are living the empty nest stage of our life, we still enjoy the at home date nights.

Loved your ideas, Michele! And I agree that we show our children how to love and be loved. What greater role model is there?
