As Weight Watchers transitions to Smart Points, they are bringing a healthier look at food. The new points system is figured including saturated fat and sugars which mean poor choices like donuts or bacon will be higher in points values than ever before. This is designed to encourage you to make healthier choices to fuel your body.

When ordering in any restaurant choose baked, grilled, broiled or steamed foods for lower fat content. Avoid deep fried, cheese laden, or gravy covered foods. Broth based soups are a much better appetizer at lower points than many other choices.
