Hi Everyone! Meagen here, and today you’ll be privy to info and photos that most people never see…My un-madeup face. I won’t lie, I love my makeup and the entire routine of putting it on. I rarely leave the house without putting on some amount of makeup! Getting ready for my day is an easy beauty routine that goes pretty much the same way each day. Today I’m going to share with you how the AcneFree Daily Skin Therapy system fits into my daily routine! Maybe you were blessed with an acne free face throughout life but I was not. Growing up I struggled with mild to moderate acne and I always assumed by the time I reached my late 20’s the days of acne breakouts would be behind me…I was wrong, unfortunately.

Since I have been dealing with acne prone skin for many years I’ve worked cleansing, treatment, and prevention methods into my daily routine. Unfortunately they can be time consuming and redundant. With AcneFree’s new 3-Step line, available at WalMart, I can help rebalance my acne prone skin easily and quickly! Unlike most systems that treat acne you can buy each step individually in case you go through one more quickly than the others! This was a huge plus for me! I also love that the AcneFree Daily Skin Therapy System helps prevent new acne from forming, is dermatologist tested, soap free, and helps reduce oil and control shine. I feel like I’m doing so much for my skin with such little amount of effort!

Now let’s get to the good stuff! My easy beauty routine is subject to change…okay that’s highly unlikely, I have been doing the same things forever. I tweak my routine to make it faster and easier but it remains otherwise unchanged since my days in high school and college. It’s always been important to me to leave the house with my best face forward! As you will see in my routine tutorial below, it is all about speed, accuracy, and dealing with both new and old acne. My cleansing and treatment routine is focused on dealing with the prevention and removal of current acne and my makeup routine is geared towards covering up the scars and redness from previous acne…and of course it’s quick because I have 100 things going at one time, no time to waste!

Easy Beauty Routine Tutorial:
Step 1: Cleanse and Dry. This is where Step 1 in the AcneFree Daily Skin Therapy System comes in! It is great for my skin and helps get deep down into pores to clean away bacteria and gunk. I wear makeup almost every day so I always need to get a deep down clean. The Purifying Facial Cleansing Brush + Oil-Free Purifying Cleanser is also a great part of the AcneFree system. With 8,000 pulsations it can get way more gunk out of my skin, much more quickly than just my 10 fingers!
Step 2: Again, AcneFree Daily Skin Therapy System corresponds to the second step in my routine! Quick and easy, takes just a few seconds. The great new pads unclog pores and tone skin. These pads help open blocked pores and prevent new acne from forming! I can feel them working and I love that they have a little bit of exfoliation going on as well!
Step 3: Is the final step in the AcneFree Daily Skin Therapy System! This awesome lotion is used to renew skin and create a clearer complexion. This also helps make my routine faster because it cuts out one of my normal beauty steps for the morning: moisturizing. This 3rd step contains advanced retinol technology that releases retinol throughout the day, the lightweight moisturizing cream also has added conditioners to keep skin soft, smooth, and moisturized. Probably one of my favorite parts of the system. It smells great and it makes my skin SUPER soft!

Before I start my makeup steps I want to stress how important it is to choose products that have a couple of qualities: SPF to protect from the sun’s damaging rays, light coverage to avoid skin irritation, and ease of use! Use what you are comfortable with and make sure you check for skin irritation. I love makeup but it takes some time to find what works for your own particular skin to avoid more irritation! I will say that I love using the AcneFree system because I always feel like I get a deep down clean. It helps remove all the leftover bits of makeup so they don’t settle into my pores and cause new acne!
Step 4: I put on a primer on my eyelids and lips! Self Proclaimed Pro Tip Here: Get those on early so they have time to set before you are putting color on top of them!!
Step 5: BB Cream & Foundation are the first part of my beautification routine! Hold onto your socks because this whole process goes pretty quick! I love keeping my routine simple and I love that this natural look is great for a day on the beach or a day at the office! I make sure to use BB Cream and Foundation that has as high of an SPF as possible to help protect my skin!
Step 6: Color! I use a simple black gel stick to get easy lines and perfect coverage! It’s a nice middle ground between a pencil and a liquid. I get the control I like without the time and hassle of a liquid eyeliner!
Eye shadow. I have so many eye shadow palettes, they range from high end to just a few bucks and honestly I’ve found that it’s more about the primer you use than anything! Using three or four shades I create a neutral but shimmery look and quickly blend them.
Mascara! This is my favorite part..seriously, I love a good lash look and no matter what kind/style/color it is so satisfying for some reason!
I don’t always do my brows but today I did. Just using a medium brown shade to fill them in and sculpt them a bit!
Chapstick or Lip Color is up next in the color routine I usually grab something hydrating to keep my lips from getting chapped or dry. Preferably with an SPF!
Finally I do a quick sweep of bronzer around the outer edges and highlight!
Step 7: I finish my whole easy beauty routine with a spritz or two of a finishing and setting spray to keep everything in place!

Great post. Thank goodness I don’t have acne anymore, but I know someone who does. I’ll for sure pass this on to her.
