When you have college aged boys at the house, you need to have food and drink on hand at all times. Cereal, soda, microwave meals are food my son would live on if I let him.

When he’s not at home, I don’t fuss over what he eats or doesn’t eat. But when he is at home, Momma Bear mode kicks in and I have to see him eat. So we eat pizza! 

My son the microwave chef, can easily whip up this easy pizza sub recipe to satisfy him and his friends.

I always have a few baguettes in the freezer, so this pizza sub recipe can be ready in just a few minutes. When the kids are full and happy, Momma is happy!

EASY PIZZA SUB

Ingredients

1 Garlic Baguette (or any type baguette)
24 Pepperoni pieces
1C Mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 Tbsp. Pizza Sauce
to taste Banana Pepper Rings
Directions

Split the baguette lengthwise
Spread the pizza sauce evenly between the two baguette halves

Sprinkle ¼ C of the mozzarella on each baguette half
Place 12 pepperoni slices on each baguette half
Evenly divide the remaining mozzarella and sprinkle it over the pepperoni

According to your preference, place as many banana pepper rings on top of the cheese.
Place both baguette halves under the broiler for approximately 4 -5 minutes or until the cheese melts.
