5 Ways to Enjoy a Healthy Holiday Season

Plan Ahead

The number one thing that can make your healthy choices a success during the holiday season is planning. Having a plan in place before you hit the party scene or family gathering will help you embrace a healthy holiday season without feeling deprived or cheated.

Keep Moving

Be sure to include physical activity in your holiday schedule. If you have to get up early or visit the gym late at night, plan to be active at least 30 minutes each day. If you are trying to maintain a weight loss or lose weight, 60 minutes of physical activity each day would be even better yet. My main physical activity is walking. I usually start my morning with a walk and end my day with a walk. I also try to move around at least once an hour while I am working.
