Frugal Homemade All Purpose Cleaner
This month we are going to share our favorite Frugal Homemade All Purpose Cleaner recipe with you. Not only does this save lots of money for you throughout the year, it is a great natural option if you the harsh chemicals in your home. We love that this is a great safe product to use around your kids and pets. Make a large batch of this all purpose cleaner and put into spray bottles to keep under the cabinets of every bathroom.

Supplies Needed:

  • 1 Cup White Vinegar
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 15 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
  • 15 Drops Lemon Essential Oil

Directions:

  • Mix all ingredients together in spray bottle.
  • Label well and use to clean surfaces throughout your home.

Vinegar has long been known to be a great anti-bacterial agent for all purpose cleaning. The addition of essential oils makes this a brightly scented cleanser you won’t mind using in your home. We use this cleanser for our bathroom counters, kitchen counters, handles, door knobs, refrigerator, and even sink. Not only are we cleaning and sanitizing, we are freshening the smell in our home.

As you navigate this year working to make your life more frugal, there are a lot of simple ways to save money and give your family a healthier environment in the process. Essential oils are a great option that adds not only a great smell, but a natural healthy addition to your cleaner. Tea Tree and Lemon essential oils are a great investment that will be used in a multitude of homemade products this year.

    I love this and love how easy it is to make your own cleaner, I don’t have lemon oil but I have been making my own with just the vinegar , water and tea tree oil, I did put a few drops of peppermint oil only to help with the scent.. Thanks for share

    I’ve made my own cleaner mixing water and vinegar, but i’ve never thought to add essential oils to it.
