These Frugal Homemade Decongestant Shower Bombs are a great way to open up your sinuses when the weather changes start getting to you. Not only are they super easy to put together, you will love the way they smell and how much better they make you feel.
FRUGAL HOMEMADE DECONGESTANT SHOWER BOMBS
- Baking Soda
- Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- Lavender Essential Oil
- Rosemary Essential Oil
- Mix together desired amount of baking soda with water until it forms a slightly runny paste. You want it to be wet, but not too wet.
- Add in 5-10 drops of each essential oil.
- Pour into lined cupcake pan and allow to sit overnight to dry out.
- If still damp after 24 hours, pop into oven at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Watch carefully as you don’t want to burn them, but just dry them out.
Store these decongestant shower bombs in an air tight container near your shower. When you are feeling a bit congested, or you simply want to be refreshed a bit more in your shower, drop one of these in the corner. The steam will help the essential oils to work on your sinuses while the water will eventually melt down the paste. These are completely safe to use in the shower on a regular basis, an the paste draining down your shower won’t clog anything either.
