Our weekends from September through February are spent arguing game calls, yelling at the TV and of course eating. What else is the sports crazed family to do? Once the weekend rolls around making fun big game day food is right up my alley. I can still serve good food that family and friends like to eat, without a lot of work on my part. (That’s definitely a big game win for me!)

This weekends Big Game Day Food included  DiGiorno® Pepperoni STUFFED CRUST® Pizza, Coke BBQ Meatballs, 2 Bite Fluffer Nutter Ritz Crackers  and Ice Cold Coca-Cola. I had a great time adding some fun football decor and fun finger foods to our big game day food table.

Coca-Cola was invited to the table as the big game referees and cheerleaders. I found colorful whistles in the Walmart party goods section and added them to the bottle neck. Party blowers were used as the “pom poms”. I cut off the rolled up paper part and just used clear tape to attach them to each bottle. I also had the bright idea to attach black and white striped paper straws to the bottles. Take note, paper straws and clear tape don’t play well together. FAIL!

The DiGiorno® Pepperoni STUFFED CRUST® Pizza made its debut on a pom pom platter. (The pom poms are left over from the kids high school football days). I found the plastic pennant at Walmart with the party goods, it added a nice pop of color to the table and was the perfect way to present the big game day food.

When your sitting in front of the TV taking in the big game, space is a premium, so food needs to be finger friendly. I wanted to make sure our big game food required no eating utensils.

Fluffer Nutter Ritz Crackers make the perfect 2 bite dessert. The fact that they only take 3 ingredients and can be made in just a few minutes, makes them one of my faves. And who doesn’t love peanut butter and marshmallow? Grab the Ritz Crackers, spread marshmallow creme on one cracker, spread peanut butter (or hazelnut spread) on another cracker, sandwich together and you have the perfect 2 bite dessert everyone will love. WARNING – It’s really hard to not eat these as you are making them. You have been warned!

Coca Cola Meatballs

Coke BBQ Meatballs was another easy and delicious big game food that is finger friendly.  Here’s a tip; they are finger friendly as long as you use the toothpicks or just lick your fingers while you eat.

The Coca-Cola BBQ Sauce is great on meatballs, wings and sloppy joes. Any of these foods would make great finger food options for the big game day party.

I picked up the big game day food and party decor at our local Walmart. You will find the DiGiorno® Pepperoni STUFFED CRUST® Pizza on roll back in the freezer section. Don’t forget to grab the ingredients for those hard to resist Fluffer Nutter Ritz Crackers that everyone will enjoy!

What a cute way to feed folks for game day. I like the whistles on the bottles of Coke.

We love BBQ and regularly have meatballs and smoky links in a crock pot (smothered in BBQ sauce). Yours looks great!

We make a lot of meat recipes with soda. It adds great flavor and helps make things tender.

I bet that the Coke gives those a really nice flavor. I’ve never tried anything like this, so I am super excited to give them a try. Plus, Stuffed Crust Digiorno – you are making me hungry!! Exactly my type of favorite foods.
