Ways to Lower Healthcare Costs

Sharing is caring!

Finding ways to save money is important to me. Naturally, I was thrilled to partner with SearchRx to bring you this sponsored post to share my opinion on ways to lower healthcare costs.

If you were able to lower your healthcare costs what would you spend the extra money on? It wouldn’t take me long to come up with a few new ideas. Saving for a few pieces of new furniture would be at the top of my list.

Ways to Lower Healthcare Costs

It’s no surprise that healthcare costs are a large portion of the family budget. Whether you are single, a family unit or an empty nest couple like my household, healthcare is something you have to factor into the budget. Believe it or not there are a few easy ways to save on healthcare costs so you’ll have some extra funds to do the things you love.

My husband has high blood pressure. He sees the doctor a minimum of twice a year and takes several prescription medicines. I plan on keeping my husband around as long as possible, so it’s my mission to find those prescriptions at the lowest price possible.

SearchRx is a website that allows me to do what I like to do best, save money. Millions of people in the United States lack adequate healthcare or have no coverage at all. If they are prescribed medications they have to pay out of pocket costs. Those costs can be a burden. You can use SearchRx to help ease that burden.

The SearchRx platform is 100% free and you don’t have to register to use the discounts.  Use the SearchRx website or download the app from the App Store or Google Play to find the lowest prescription prices in your area. Then you will use the drug coupons provided by SearchRx to receive a deep discount on the drugs you need. The coupons can be printed  emailed or sent to you by text.

While I was using SearchRx website a few things stuck out to me. The prices of medicines can vary greatly between pharmacies. Even the same drug-store chains in different towns had a significant difference in pricing. Driving a few extra miles could save a lot more money. It pays to shop around.

SearchRx is not an insurance plan, but you can use it even if you have insurance. You will need to ask at the pharmacy, which option will give you the deepest discount and then the choice is yours. If you use the SearchRx drug coupons it will not count toward any deductible thresholds through your insurance company. It’s just a matter of figuring out which choice will save you the most money on your healthcare costs.

Over 62,000 pharmacies participate in the SearchRx discount program. Hopefully you won’t have a problem finding a pharmacy in your area that participates and accepts SearchRx coupons.

When you use SearchRx there are plenty of ways to save without paying deductibles or submitting claim forms.

It’s nice to have some extra spending money thanks to SearchRx. Camping season will be here before you know it and we will definitely put the savings to good use.
