Make Time to Take Care of You

Make Time to Take Care of You is my honest experience using Zicam® as part of a sponsored series with Socialstars.

Making time to take care of yourself sounds like easy task, but so many women aren’t doing it.  I know you’re busy taking caring of family, extended family and just life in general. BUT not finding the time to take care of you can be detrimental to your own health and well-being. You must find the time to nourish your own body, mind and soul so you can continue to pour your heart into others.

When Will You Make Time to Take Care of You

Making time to take care of you has to be intentional. You need to make it a priority and a habit. It takes 66 days to form a habit, so it’s time to get busy. Doing one small or large thing just for you everyday has to be intentional. Read, nap, chat, relax, walk or take a bath. Those things are all free! It doesn’t have to be complicated or costly, you just have to do it.

I am making a concerted effort to put myself on the to-do list each day. I pencil time in my daily planner to walk, eat and relax. Something as simple as breathing exercises can make a huge difference in your health and wellness journey. Taking care of our own needs has to be a priority for you and for me.

Recently I had the opportunity to travel to a retreat in California with 25 other fabulous business women. Since I was going from one side of the country to the other, a plane ride was my quickest form of transporation. Traveling on several planes and going to multiple locations meant I was around a lot of people. A lot of people means exposure to germs.

Take Care of You so You Don’t Get Sick

I have a full plate with my personal and business life, so I have no time to get sick. I was prepared. My bag was packed with water to stay hydrated, anti-bacterial wipes and “Zicam® Cold Remedy RapidMelts®. After 16 hours of travel I could feel the sniffles and cough creeping in on me. I didn’t want to miss one single minute of this reatreat, so it was time to use Zicam® RapidMelts® to help me shorten my cold symptoms.

Thankfully Zicam® RapidMelts® are an easy to take (no water needed) homeopathic cold remedy, that isn’t habit forming. As soon as I needed one, I was able to pop one in my mouth and start to shorten my cold symptoms.

You can find Zicam® RapidMelts®  in the the stores you regularly shop. You can choose from three flavors; Cherry, Citrus and Lemon-Lime with Echinacea.  Take Zicam® RapidMelts® at the first sign of a cold and continue to use as directed until cold symptoms subside.

My retreat experience was definitley worth the time and effort it took to get there.  I definitley learned being prepared for life, colds and the unexpected is key to making a coast to coast trip a worthy investment. I am looking forward to doing more great things with my brand and business. Stay tuned.

I am sure you have no time to get sick! What is your plan to take care of you?

I don't often get colds never have, but I am taking care of myself after having bypass surgery. So if I am able to, I will definitely try the Zicam Rapid Release tablets if I happen to catch a cold.
