I admit, I am obsessed with finding ways to reuse and upcycle things in my home. This obsession is rooted deep in my soul. Spending 20 years as a preschool teacher, has turned me into a collector of “stuff”. Before I toss anything into the recycling bin or trash can, I look long and hard at it. What else could I do with it? Or even better yet, what could a preschool kiddo do with it? You have all heard the saying that “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” and it’s oh so true!
Do you ever wonder what you could do to upcycle items in your home? It’s easy to find inspiration to light your creative spark at P&Geveryday™. The ideas on the P&Geveryday™ are endless. Looking for a craft idea, party theme, recipe or home decor topic? If you are looking for new ideas, you can probably find it there! With the summer picnic scene in full swing around here, I started browsing P&Geveryday™ for simple ideas to make our picnic tables stand out and I needed a killer recipe that would be the king of the dessert table.
The post about Fresh-Cut Flower Ideas caught my eye immediately. Our yard is full of flowers, making them the perfect focal point of our table decor. The abundance of flowers and a recycling bin full of cans with pretty labels just naturally went together, leading to a variety of Simple Upcycled Centerpieces.
The cans and plastic bottle were upcycled from the recycle bin, and the flowers were cut from yard, making these simple upcycled centerpieces, free! These centerpieces will be perfect to brighten up any space, indoors or out! Now I can relax and move on to the next project!
Explore P&Geveryday™ online and on Facebook for delicious recipes, beauty trends, and smart tips to save you time and money. Believe me, I know. My “I must try this” list is continually growing.
