Simple Upcycled Centerpieces

Recycle pretty food cans as vases and centerpieces. #DIY upcycle project that is FREE!

I admit, I am obsessed with finding ways to reuse and upcycle things in my home. This obsession is rooted deep in my soul. Spending 20 years as a preschool teacher, has turned me into a collector of “stuff”. Before I toss anything into the recycling bin or trash can, I look long and hard at it. What else could I do with it? Or even better yet, what could a preschool kiddo do with it? You have all heard the saying that “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”  and it’s oh so true!

Do you ever wonder what you could do to upcycle items in your home? It’s easy to find inspiration to light your creative spark at P&Geveryday. The ideas on the P&Geveryday are endless. The post about Fresh-Cut Flower Ideas caught my eye immediately. Our yard  is full of flowers, making them the perfect focal point of our table decor. The abundance of flowers and a recycling bin full of cans with pretty labels just naturally went together, leading to a variety of Simple Upcycled Centerpieces.

The cans and plastic bottle were upcycled from the recycle bin, and the flowers were cut from yard, making these simple upcycled centerpieces, free! These centerpieces will be perfect to brighten up any space, indoors or out! Now I can relax and move on to the next project!
