8 Hot & Spicy Appetizers

Tis the season to celebrate! 8 Hot & Spicy Appetizers is a sponsored conversation we put together on behalf of Pepto-Bismol. All opinions expressed are the true experiences of our family.

No matter what time of year it is, our family is never afraid to eat. Whether it’s a family meal, game night, football weekend or the holidays there’s always food on the table. One of our favorite foods is dips and appetizers and we like them hot! There’s just something fun and easy about eating with your fingers. We only have a few rules we follow;

  • There has to be lots of food to share.
  • The hotter and spicier the better.
  • NO double dipping!

Follow the easy rules and we all have fun!

Since it definitely the season of eating, we have gathered up a few hot and spicy appetizers to add to our holiday menu. I am sure these recipes will be just the right thing to add a bit of spice to the table.

8  Hot & Spicy Appetizers

Mama Likes to Cook – Hatch Chile Salsa Verde
Thrifty Diva – Slow Cooker Queso Dip
Just 2 Sisters – Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos
Sweet & Savory Food – Jalapeno Hot Corn Dip
The Jenny Evolution – Cowboy Caviar Tomato Salsa
Farm Fresh Feasts – Harvest Sweet Potato Salsa
Nomageddon – Sriracha Hummus
The Foodie & The Fix – Black Bean Hummus Taco Dip

While the family is enjoying these hot and spicy appetizers, there is bound to be some stomach woes. At least one or two people are sure to end up with nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, or diarrhea. That is why we keep Pepto-Bismol on hand. Not only is it available in the medicine cabinet, I like to keep a handy basket of essential supplies in the guest bathroom.

Whether it be a toothbrush, mouthwash, shampoo or Pept0-Bismol, adult guests will know just where to find supplies and relief. You can pick up Pepto-Bismol in liquid, chewables or tablets to suit all the needs of family and guests.

Pepto-Bismol is the only leading brand that can provide soothing relief for five different stomach symptoms: heartburn, indigestion, nausea, upset stomach and diarrhea.

My personal preference is the chewables, but it’s nice to have a variety of flavors and forms of Pepto-Bismol to choose from to thwart those stomach issues. Be sure to stock up on Pept0-Bismol and enjoy your share of spicy dips and appetizers this holiday season.

What kind of hot and spicy appetizers are your family favorites?

Better safe than sorry! In fact, maybe take a swig before the spicy food and it’ll be all the prevention you need!

I love that you paired the spicy food with Pepto. I LOVE spicy food, but it can really do a number on me sometimes.

My husband loves spicy food, but whenever he eats it, he gets terrible indigestion. I always keep Pepto around for him.

Once I hit 40 the stomach definitely rebelled against the spicy foods.

Hot and spicy dishes are in high demand in our house for my older crew.

As for the pink bottle….well, I like to travel with some of their tablets as you never know when you’ll need them.

I love spicy food, and I have to try that Hatch Chile Salsa. I agree it is a good idea to be prepared in case the meal is too spicy!

Oooh! These look super yummy. I love spicy food but yes it can be hard on our tummys — which is why Pepto can come in handy!

The hotter the better as long as you can taste the food and not just hot.
