Take Control of Your Health

Are you ready to break free of the January blues and take control of your health? Now is as good a time as any to take a look at your healthy lifestyle habits. Are you eating healthy enough? Are you getting enough exercise each day? Taking care of you and your whole body is an important part of any healthy lifestyle plan.

Here are few of my favorite ways to take control of your health.

Get plenty of rest

This is where I struggle. I know that one of the best things you can do for your health is to get plenty of rest. I end up working late at night and sometimes crawling in bed after midnight. Getting to bed at a decent time is just one of the things you can do to take control of your health. I plan to strive for at least seven hours of sleep each night. What does your sleep schedule look like?

Drink plenty of water

Drinking water is one of my favorite ways to support my healthy lifestyle journey. I have always been a water drinker, so drinking enough every day is easy for me. I have a water bottle that holds 24 ounces and I usually fill and drink it at least four times a day.  Drinking plenty of water can help keep your health in check. Start your morning out right with a big glass of ice water to get you up and moving.

Eating the right foods

Committing to recording your food intake can make a big difference in hour Looking at your eating habits, everyone could probably use a little improvement. Take a look at what you are eating and make sure you’re on the right track. Consider a dietary supplement like Triphala. Triphala is a cornerstone of Ayurvedic medicine for digestion and internal cleansing. Some of the health benefits of Triphala include,  correction of occasional constipation, cleanses the GI tract,  detoxes your whole body and improves digestion and assimilation. It also promotes normal blood pressure and blood circulation and is very effective in occasional digestive disorders.

Consider taking dietary supplements

Unfortunately, most of us don’t get all the nutrition we need from the foods we eat. This is where dietary supplements come in. A supplement may help you get past a plateau or jump start your weight loss. As always check with your doctor before you use any supplements or change your medications.

Set health goals for yourself

You can take control of your health by setting health goals for yourself. Get yourself excited about getting healthy! You will be able to achieve the goals you set for yourself, I promise.

If you need a little extra push, consider Organic Garcinia. Garcinia Cambogia has been used for centuries in Southeast Asia to support balanced appetite. Derived from the rind of Garcinia fruit, our extract contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA 50%), which is responsible for the metabolic effects. HCA also appears to promote healthy serotonin levels.

Women may need extra support, especially during their menstrual cycle and child bearing years.

Shatavari is traditionally used by women for overall health and vitality, to promote lactation and as an aphrodisiac. Some of the benefits include supporting reproductive health by toning and nourishing the female reproductive organs, supporting normal production of breast milk for nursing mothers, helping maintain a healthy hormonal balance and helps treat PMS symptoms by relieving pain and controlling blood loss during menstruation.
