This recipe is quick and easy. It makes 8 patties and serves 4 people! You can easily double or even triple the ingredients if you want to make these turkey sliders for a crowd.
I don’t like mushrooms, will I like these turkey burgers?
I’m not sure! Everyone likes different things, right?! But in all honesty, these turkey burgers with mushrooms don’t taste prominently of mushrooms.
The mushrooms add texture and they bulk up the recipe as more of a healthy filler! Don’t focus too much on the idea that the mushrooms are in there. It’s not the same as having the mushrooms on top or in a sauce! Try adding a spoonful of this bacon jam recipe for extra flavor.
Can I make these ground turkey sliders in a larger batch?
I often make these sliders with the 3 lb pack of turkey instead of the 1 lb one. I make up sliders from half of it, and then add parmesan, bread crumbs, and Italian spices to the rest and make meatballs for the next night!
I cook them right away on the griddle, then simmer them in sauce to reheat the next night. Leftover sliders reheat well in the microwave. They make a great lunch!
You can use an entire 3 lb pack of turkey if you want and just triple the recipe, it’s a super easy way to prep a large batch of these burgers!
How do I cook these delicious turkey sliders?
I LOVE my Broil King electric griddle. I’ve had it for a long time and it’s still great for making sliders, quesadillas, chicken breasts, pancakes, French toast, and more.
It looks like the latest Amazon reviews are mixed, so you may have a different favorite brand. For me, this has been a huge timesaver vs cooking everything in multiple batches in a frying pan.
Are these Weight Watchers turkey sliders with mushrooms?
Yes! Of course! You can enjoy these turkey burgers on Weight Watchers. The recipe makes 8 patties, each serving is for two patties. If you include cheese it’s 10 Weight Watchers Points per serving.
Which WW Program are these points for?
WW has definitely changed from 2020 to now. They went from three to one plan to multiple plans and back to one plan again. So in 2023, we have just plain old “POINTS.”
- Be sure to calculate the points value of the foods and recipes you eat in the app.
- Always add ingredients and serving sizes and don’t rely on the nutrition facts in the recipe.
- Accuracy will come from the information you input on the app.
You can reduce the points by using a more lean ground turkey, omitting the cheese or using lettuce to wrap these instead of buns!
Using Weight Watchers ground turkey recipes is smart because you can reduce the points while still having all the flavor and texture you love!
