Common Questions
How long do I let fudge sit?
This microwave peanut butter fudge recipe just requires about one hour in the fridge to harden before you serve it.
Can I add toppings to this 2 ingredient peanut butter fudge recipe?
You certainly could! For example, some sprinkles could add a really fun pop of color!
Can I make this fudge with any frosting?
I avoid making my peanut butter fudge recipe with either cream cheese or whipped frostings. The fudge just doesn’t taste the same with those kinds of canned icing.
You can pretty much use any brand of frosting though so feel free to use whatever one you like or have on hand!
How do I double this easy PB fudge recipe?
This recipe is super simple. It’s a 1-to-1 ratio of peanut butter and icing. So however much icing you want to use, just use that much peanut butter to balance it out.
If you want to simply double the recipe you’ll need to use 32 oz of peanut butter and 32 oz of icing.
Storage suggestions
The best way to keep fudge fresh for as long as possible is to keep it in an airtight container at room temperature. This will help to prevent the fudge from drying out before you’re finished with it.

LOVE this EASY peezy fudge!
I would like to try this, wondering if it would be ideal for school lunch boxes too. I live in Africa, and I don’t know if we have ready-made vanilla frosting in the shops. Haven’t seen. Any suggestion as an alternative. I was thinking Nestle caramel. I’d like to give that a try today.
A special treat.

Hi,love all the great recipes you share . I was wondering if Almond or Cashew Butter can be substituted for Peanut Butter as my new daughter in law has a peanut/Peanut butter allergy. Does the amounts change for the recipe? Thanks for any help with this. I would hate to lose my DIL so soon after getting one I really love to bits.
