When I had the chance to do a Nectar Mattress review, I decided to be the best mom ever and gift the mattress to my daughter and son-in-law. They were married in March of this year and just bought their first home. They were sleeping on the mattress my daughter had from her bedroom in middle school. I am pretty sure the mattress was at least 15 years old, if not older.

The Nectar Mattress comes conveniently delivered to your, door rolled up in layers of plastic, a mesh bag and enclosed in a heavy duty bag to protect it from damage. The outer bag was quite useful in moving the mattress up the stairs to the second floor bedroom.
After the bag was removed, the mattress roll is placed on the platform, floor or box spring bed frame. My daughter chose a platform for their Nectar Mattress. Although after the mattress expanded to it’s 11 inch height, they are now considering adding a box spring under the mattress. They would like it to sit higher on the platform. That is just personal preference. You can use your Nectar Mattress on the floor, platform or on a box spring. You will need to choose what works best for you.

Thanks for the balanced review. We’re considering one for our son and his big boy room. In a perfect world, a new mattress make him comfy enough to convince him to stay in his room and stop waking us up in the middle of the night!
This mattress is very affordable. It costs a lot less than the mattress my husband purchased which is almost exactly like it. The only difference is his came with a ‘platform’ to place it on. I would try it if we didn’t already have one.
