Confession, I am a word nerd! I love word games and cannot get enough of them — hence, the scrabble party idea.
Scrabble is my number one favorite word game of all times. I have a tendency to collect the games.
I am always on the hunt at yard sales and thrift stores for used Scrabble games. We play them and make crafts out of the tiles.
A Scrabble Party theme would be great for holiday celebrations, New Year’s Eve, bridal showers, engagement parties and more. Everyone has a love for words somewhere inside them.

Our Fun Scrabble Party Theme was made possible by Mom Select and sponsored by Monk Fruit In The Raw. We received samples for ourselves and party guests to facilitate our posts. #InTheRaw
Using the Scrabble boards, tiles and racks were simple party decor that really added a special touch. I filled up glass jars, used scrapbook paper to make “large” Scrabble tiles for the table, used game boards for backgrounds and serving. Getting all of the pieces together for this Scrabble Party was a ton of fun!

White fan decorations ($1.50 each) and black streamers ($1) on a solid wall made a great back drop for our tablescape.

We decorated the water bottles with gold duct tape. A vintage milk glass creamer and sugar set, held our Monk Fruit in the Raw packets and creamer for the hot beverages. My deluxe spinning scrabble board was the perfect lazy susan.Using the Scrabble tiles and wooden racks added the perfect touch the table.

Making the plates for the Scrabble Party guests was my favorite part. I ordered the square clear plastic plates from Amazon. We cut squares from manila file folders and drew the “Scrabble” letters on them with black marker. Then we used a glue runner, from our scrapbooking supplies, to put a small dot on each corner of the letter and attached it to the bottom of the plates. The plates were easy and again, one of my favorite parts of the Scrabble Party decor.

Did you know that Cheez-It crackers sell fun Scrabble Junior themed crackers? These were the perfect snack.
Since it’s the holiday season and we will all soon be heading out to family gatherings, where we all tend to overeat more than we care to admit. We decided to go on the light side with our party foods and served kettle corn, Cheez-It crackers, potato soup , Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and Brownies with cream cheese frosting.
With Monk Fruit In The Raw®, you can actually feel good about giving into sweet cravings. From the In The Raw family of premium sweeteners, Monk Fruit In The Raw is a zero calorie sweetener made from monk fruit, a vine-ripened fruit native to Asia. Monk Fruit In The Raw is available in both packets and a Bakers Bag formula that measures just like sugar. Each of our guests received, samples, coupons and a tote bag from Monk Fruit in the Raw to take home.

We ate, we laughed and of course we played Scrabble. I had a lot of fun prepping and entertaining at the Scrabble Party. I think everyone had fun and now I’ve been bitten by the party bug. We cleaned out our screened in porch and purged a lot of “stuff” to host our guests. Now that the room is ready, the next party is already reeling through my mind.
Please pin our Scrabble Party theme board and share with your friends. Have you ever hosted a fun theme party?

We play a lot of scrabble, to the point of including it in our decor. We are remodeling the basement into a game room and plan on painting scrabble tiles on the walls. Great theme!
