Easy Taco Salad – Quick & Delicious

Do you love tacos?! If so, you will love this awesome and easy taco salad recipe. 

You can whip this recipe up in very little time and even use it as a base for a salad jar! These easy taco salads are delicious, simple to build, and will keep you satisfied and full! I love making salads like this because it gives me all the fresh and delicious flavors that I crave in my favorite foods but it also allows me to eat a little lighter!

Another great thing about this easy taco salad recipe is that it can easily be customized to feature all of your favorite taco toppings!  However you usually build your tacos you can use those same ingredients in this salad recipe! Dive on in to this guilt free but awesomely indulgent salad.

Ingredients Needed for Easy Taco Salad:
1 Head of Lettuce
1 can of black beans, drained
1 can of sweet corn, drained
a handful of cherry tomatoes
half of a onion chopped
1 avocado
1 small package of ground beef
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 T Tony Chachere’s

How to Build and Easy Taco Salad:

  1. Chop up the head of lettuce and place in a bowl, set aside
  2. In a small pan, cook the ground beef and add in the seasonings
  3. Once meat is cooked to temperature, set aside
  4. While the meat is cooling, chop the onion and then place on one side of the salad in the bowl
  5. Drain the corn and the beans
  6. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place in a line next to the chopped onion on the salad
  7. After you drain the corn and the black beans, repeat steps 5-6 with the beans and corn
  8. After you place the beans on the easy taco salad, finish the top of the salad off with the cooled ground beef
  9. Cut the Avocado in half and take out the seed
  10. Place the Avocado on a cutting board, skin side up and take a knife and slice up the avocado
  11. Peel back the skin and place the slices neatly in the middle of the salad
  12. Top the ground beef with some cilantro
  13. Finally, add a dressing of sour cream and your favorite salsa
  14. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Head of Lettuce
  • 1 can of black beans, drained
  • 1 can of sweet corn, drained
  • a handful of cherubs, Cherry tomatoes
  • half of a onion chopped
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 small package of ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 T Tony Chachere's

Instructions

  1. Chop up the head of lettuce and place in a bowl, set aside
  2. In a small pan, cook the ground beef and add in the seasonings.
  3. once meat is done, set aside
  4. While the meat is cooling, chop the onion and then place on one side of the salad in the bowl.
  5. Drain the corn and the beans.
  6. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place in a line next to the chopped onion on the salad.
  7. After you drain the corn and the black beans, repeat steps 5-6 with the beans and corn.
  8. After you place the beans down, finish the top of the salad off with the ground beef.
  9. Cut the Avocado in half and take out the seed.
  10. Place the Avocado on a cutting board, skin side up and take a knife and slice up the avocado.
  11. Peel back the skin and place the slices neatly in the middle of the salad.
  12. Top the ground beef with some cilantro.
  13. In a ramekin, fill it with sour cream, and your favorite salsa!.
