This week I am determined to dust off my slow cooker and fill the freezer with meals we love. Slow Cooker Chicken Chili is a recipe that eventually turns into several “planned over” meals.
We will eat Slow Cooker Chicken Chili one night, freeze a meal for next month, use it for taco salads, baked potato bar and a Chili Mac casserole. A good meal plan is essential to keep the family on track with healthy eating.

Slow Cooker Chicken Chili Recipe
This recipe was made in a 6 quart slow cooker. You can easily half the recipe for smaller slow cookers or if you don’t want leftovers or planned overs for additional meals. If you are looking for a vegetarian chili, just eliminate the chicken and you’ll still have a delicious meal. 1.5 lb Nature’s Promise Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
2 – 15.5 oz can’s Nature’s Promise Organic Black Beans
2 – 15.5 oz can’s Nature’s Promise Organic Dark Kidney Beans
2 – 15.5 oz can’s Nature’s Promise Organic Light Kidney Beans
2 – 15.5 oz can’s Nature’s Promise Organic Garbanzo Beans
16 oz Nature’s Promise Organic Mild Salsa
32 0z Nature’s Promise Natural Roasted Pepper and Tomato Bisque Soup
26 0z Nature’s Promise Organic Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
Cut chicken into bite size pieces and place in slow cooker.
Sprinkle with chili powder.
Pour Nature’s Promise Organic Mild Salsa over top of the chicken.
Add Nature’s Promise Natural Roasted Pepper and Tomato Bisque Soup.
Drain and rinse all beans.
Gently stir in beans.
Cover with Nature’s Promise Organic Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. After the cooking is done, I always like to give a quick taste and check the seasoning levels. If the chili has too much of a tomato flavor, a quick sprinkle of sugar will do the trick. We are big on tomato taste, so additional seasonings aren’t necessary for our family. Serve Slow Cooker Chicken Chili with a side of rice and sprinkle with fresh cilantro for a bowl of delicious goodness.
