I’m not going to lie…I have a monstrous sweet tooth. I like to have sweet treats on hand that I know are Weight Watchers friendly so that I don’t have to stray from my plan in order to satisfy my cravings.

Thanks to these WW chocolate chip cookies I am well on my way to fighting back the cravings and enjoy life…even while being healthy.  (Amazing! I know, right?!)

If you like sweets you’ll enjoy these chocolate chip cookies. I also really like that they’re made in a baking pan and not on a sheet. I don’t have to worry about getting the cookies all the same size and it’s so much easier, they bake up together in one pan and can be cut to size after cooling.

WW chocolate chip cookies Ingredients: 

Here is what you will need to make these Weight Watcher cookies for yourself at home. Nothing too crazy or complicated in this recipe (woohoo!) and everything comes together quickly, just 20 minutes total until these tasty treats are fresh from the oven! 

  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Light Whipped Cream Cheese Spread 
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • 1/3 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Egg Whites
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips

How to make homemade Weight Watchers cookies:

This is a pretty simple recipe. It only takes about 5 minutes to prepare and about 10-15 minutes to bake. That means you will have a delicious and healthy sweet treat on the table in less than 30 minutes.

These Weight Watchers cookies are a great choice for meal prep, they’re so quick! Or you can make them when you need a sweet treat in a hurry. No matter what the occasion, they’ll taste great.

Preheat the oven to 375 Fahrenheit. Use cooking spray to prepare a 9×9 baking pan.

In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl beat together butter, cream cheese, and sugars until fluffy.

Continue to beat the mixture while adding in egg whites and vanilla.

Fold in the dry ingredients, don’t overmix! Only fold them in until combined.

Add in the chocolate chips.

Put into the baking pan and even out with a spatula if necessary.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until set in the middle.

Allow to cool before cutting into 24 even sized bars.

Now that the Weight Watchers program is called WW and has three different plan options for the Freestyle program, I’m sharing all my recipes with each plan in mind. Here are the breakdowns for this recipe. Sometimes it is the same for all three plans and sometimes it’s not, so make sure you don’t get lulled into a false sense of security with recipes you find online! 

  • Green Plan: 4 Points per bar
  • Blue Plan: 4 Points per bar
  • Purple Plan: 4 Points per bar

  • Be sure to calculate the points value of the foods and recipes you eat in the app.
  • Always add ingredients and serving sizes and don’t rely on the nutrition facts in the recipe.
  • Accuracy will come from the information you input on the app.

This recipe should be divided up into 24 bars after it is done cooling. If you make the recipe into more or less servings than that you’ll need to adjust the WW Points and the nutritional information to reflect that.
