Ingredients for this recipe

Pita Bread: Whole Wheat.
Olive Oil: A staple in Mediterranean cuisine.
Ground Lamb: or Ground lean beef
Kosher Salt: For seasoning.
Coarse ground pepper: For seasoning.
Garlic: Minced.
Parsley: Fresh and chopped.
Mozzarella Cheese: Shredded.
Tomato: Thinly sliced.
Onion: Thinly sliced.
Lettuce: Shredded.
Tzatziki Sauce: Cedar’s Foods Cucumber Garlic Dill Tzatziki.

How to make gyro pizza

Step 1: Preheat oven to 325.

Step 2: Brush pitas with olive oil. Bake for 3 mins on each side.

Ground beef or lamb being cooked in a skillet.

Step 3: Mix seasonings into meat and fry until no pink remains.

Step 4: Divide meat evenly on pitas. Sprinkle with cheese, Tzatziki Sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion.

Step 5: Use a pizza cutter to slice into triangles. Enjoy!

  • 6 Whole Wheat Pitas
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 lb Ground Lamb or lean beef
  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt

  • 2 tsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • 4 oz Mozzarella Cheese shredded
