This recipe uses a chocolate pie crust, chocolate pudding, milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and whipped topping to create a delicious chocolate pumpkin pie!

How to make a chocolate pudding pie with pumpkin spice:

This recipe is really easy. We’re going to show you step by step how to make the filling and set your pie. It’s a quick and simple no bake dessert recipe for fall that everyone will be hooked on after one taste!

Make sure you give yourself time for this one to set. It is very quick to make but it does need time to firm up a bit in the fridge before you can slice and serve it!

Making the pudding.

In a large mixing bowl, add the pudding and milk. Using an electric hand or stand mixer, mix on medium until thickened, (about 2-3 minutes)

Adding pumpkin spice to the pudding.

Mix in the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice.

Adding whipped topping.

Gently mix or fold in the whipped topping until thoroughly combined.

Filled pie crust.

Add the mixture to the pie crust and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.

Chilled and ready to be served.

Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate pie crust
  • 1-3.4-ounce box of chocolate pudding
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • ½ tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 ½ cups light whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the pudding and milk. Using an electric hand or stand mixer, mix on medium until thickened, (about 2-3 minutes)
  2. Mix in the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice.
