How to make Weight Watchers Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits:

  1. Turn oven on 450 degrees F.
  2. Mix your flour, baking soda and powder and salt well in a medium sized bowl.
  3. Cut your cold butter into small little square pieces and work it into your mixture with a fork. Do this just until the dough is moist and forming a dough. DO NOT over knead your dough or you won’t get the nice flaky texture for your biscuits. Just kneed about 5 times against the bowl you are working in.
  4. While the dough is in the bowl hollow out the center of your dough and pour in the buttermilk. Kneed just enough to work the milk in evenly, similarly to what was directed in step 3.
  5. Place the dough on a flour dusted surface and roll it out with a rolling pin to a 1/2 in thick rectangular shape. Use a butter knife to cut you dough into 12 squares.
  6. Place the biscuits on a bare baking and  cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden on top. Enjoy!
