30 Christmas Cookie Recipes

Making Christmas cookie recipes with the kids is something I look forward to every year!! The kids even talk about it later in the year randomly how they can’t wait to make cookies for our friends, neighbors, and of course Santa!

This year I was invited to a cookie exchange! I had a blast getting on Pinterest and looking for some new Christmas cookie recipes to try out!!!  I even had to make a new  Christmas board  I was finding so many great ideas to use! The Christmas board is for recipes, crafts, DIY and more. (You can follow it -> here if you would like)

30 Christmas Cookies Recipes

Insanely Delicious Turtle Cookies | Turtle cookies are always a crowd pleaser when it comes to Christmas or even just a sweet treat throughout the year. These turtle cookies are super tasty and easy to make!

Hot Cocoa Cookies Recipe | What could be more like the holidays than hot cocoa and cookies…how about a combo?! These hot chocolate cookies are so delicious and they definitely win over the chocolate fans!

Egg Nog Cookies | If you like the flavors of egg nog you will love these egg nog cookies. They’re great for parties, cookie exchanges, and of course…for Santa!

Tie Die Cookies | This is a favorite with the kiddos. They like anything bright and colorful and these tie die cookies are perfect!

Peppermint Rice Krispies Ball Cookies | Christmas cookies wouldn’t be complete without a little peppermint in the mix. Rice Krispies ball cookies with a peppermint twist are great for giving the cookie plate a little more texture and a different choice for those who might not be able to have gluten and other allergens!

Cinnamon Bun Cookies | I love cinnamon. It’s one of my favorite baking spices so these cinnamon bun cookies called out to me right away. Perfect for a sweet treat or even a quick breakfast on the go during the holidays.

Kris Kringle Cookie And Frosting Recipe | Making cookie frosting is easier than you might think! The kids have a blast decorating their Santa cookies with this easy cookie and frosting recipe.

Snowball Cookies | Snowballs are a classic around here so we can’t leave them out of this great roundup of Christmas cookies. These tasty little treats are always on our cookies plates for friends, family members, and neighbors.

No Bake Rudolph Nose | Occasionally I want the sweet treat of a cookie without the hassle of baking. These no bake cookies are great no matter what the season!

Death by Chocolate Cookies | The holidays are a great time for sweets and when my craving for chocolate strikes there is only one thing that will do the trick…chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate and these cookies have all three 😉

Tri-Color Christmas Joy Cookies | Give your cookie plate a little twist this year with these tri color Christmas joy cookies!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Thumbprint Cookies | Thumbprint cookies are so easy to make these these peanut butter and jelly ones are always a big hit for parties. They’re easy, little, and of course they pack that classic flavor combo that everyone loves.

Red Velvet Cupcake Cookies | Red velvet seems to be one of those flavors that people either love or hate, I happen to love it! So when I found these red velvet cupcake cookies I had to give them a try. SO tasty!

Grandma’s Waffle Cookies | These waffle cookies are unique and sometimes we get bored of making the same traditional recipes all the time. Give these a try for your cookie exchange this year and let us know what you think!

Molasses Crinkles | Molasses crinkle cookies are traditionally served around Christmas time but I think they’re great year round. Some of the grandparents really love them so it’s a great excuse to bake no matter what the season might be.

Peanut Butter Pretzel Reindeer Cookies | When baking with kids it’s important to have a lot of tricks up your sleeve…these reindeer cookies are one of my favorites to make with little ones. They’re just so cheerful and the kids have a blast making them.

Russian Tea Cookies | Another classic that we don’t see too often is these Russian tea cookies. They’re unique and definitely add a little bit of a twist to our cookie table during the holidays.

Lemon Snowball Cookies | Lemon is maybe not the first thing people think of for Christmas but I could eat lemon dessert year round so these lemon snowball cookies always make an appearance for dessert throughout the year.

White Chocolate Chunk Cranberry Cookies | If there are going to be fruit chunks in my cookies there also needs to be chunks of chocolate!

Gingerbread Magic Cookies | Who can have Christmas without gingerbread cookies?! They are a tried and true classic so we can’t leave them out! Plus, they’re super fun to decorate.

Date Nuts Rolls | Another unique looking cookie to give your plate some flair this year are these date nuts rolls! So easy to make but definitely unique!

No-Bake Chocolate-Coconut Peanut Butter Bars | Not all cookies are round 🙂 These chocolate coconut peanut butter bars might be square but what they lack in rounded edges they make up for in flavor!

Pistachio-White Chocolate (No Butter!) Butter Cookies | Looking for cookie recipes without butter? These pistachio white chocolate “butter” cookies actually have no butter in them! How cool is that.

Gingerbread Man | Get out your decorating tools and set to work making the best looking batch of gingerbread men around! Everyone will love nibbling them to pieces.

Minty Chocolate Delights Weight Watchers Cookies | You know my love for Weight Watchers runs deep so these WW friendly cookies are a great option for those watching their weight during the holidays.

Funfetti Cake Batter Cookies | I love making these cake batter cookies. Any cake mix is good but funfetti is the most festive I think!

M&M Cake Mix Cookies | Another delicious cake mix cookie that you can whip up with some M&M candies. The kids will go crazy for these delicious treats…Santa and his helpers will too!

Apple Pie Cookies | What is better than pie?! Cookies?! Mix them together and we are looking at a win for sure!
