How to make an easy banana cookies recipe:
This is a very simple and straightforward recipe. If you have never made banana cookies before this is a great recipe to start!
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Line two cookie trays with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
In a large bowl, stir together the almond flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Mash in the bananas until combined and no large chunks of banana remain.
Add maple syrup (or maybe syrup substitute) and eggs. Stir well until no dry streaks of almond flour remain.
Use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough 3″ apart on the prepared baking mat.
Use the back of the cookie scoop to smooth down the banana cookie dough.
Bake for 25-28 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Allow to cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes before attempting to remove to a cooling rack.
Don’t skip allowing these to cool for a bit on the cookie sheets. They’re going to need those few minutes to finish setting and then the banana cookies are much easier to move without breaking!
Helpful Kitchen Stuff for Making Weight Watchers Cookies:
If you are trying to pick out some of the best supplies to stock your kitchen for Weight Watchers cookies and other baking recipes, these are some of our favorites and must have items.
I like half sheet baking pans that are quality (hello no noisy pops or sloshed cookie dough from twisting), I line my cookie sheets with silicone baking mats. These are a must when doing cake mix recipes which can settle and become thin at lot easier than traditional cookie dough.
Of course mixing bowls, a mixer, spatula, and some whisks should be on your list if you don’t have ones that you love. I also like to have a set of cooling racks so that my recipes can properly cool before they’re scarfed down by my family!
