This is one of those recipes that is going to blow you away…and not just because it’s delicious. It’s delicious, sure, but it’s also so easy and simple. It’s packed with healthy ingredients and then the Instant Pot does the rest!
Why use the Instant Pot for applesauce?
You might be thinking that you can make applesauce on the stove top or in the Crockpot, you are not wrong. There’s something you are missing though!
With the Instant Pot the time is cut way down and on top of that you don’t have to mess with the Weight Watchers applesauce recipe. It goes in, you put the lid on, and you can walk away. There’s no monitoring or stirring or compulsively checking that it’s not sticking or burning!
You can use any type of electric pressure cooker. I use an Instant Pot, there are other brands out there now. You can also use a Ninja Foodi, or any other brand of programmable pressure cooker!
What else do I need to make applesauce for Weight Watchers?
This recipe uses apples, water, cinnamon, vanilla, and that is all! There are only four ingredients in this recipe which means it’s not only amazing for Weight Watchers it’s also really good for Whole30, clean eating diets, and even 21 Day Fix!
This is a healthy applesauce recipe that is good for everyone. You can add some cinnamon sugar to the top for kids if it’s not sweet enough, though we’ve never had that problem. I also like to add a little bit of whipped cream if I’m craving a really sweet treat!
