Here is what you’ll need to make this soup at home:
This recipe calls for cooked vegetables so I usually just use canned. If you want to switch to fresh or frozen you could do that it just might impact your cooking times!
Full amounts and nutritional info are provided below in the recipe card, this list is great to use for shopping your pantry before you head to the store or make your grocery order for the week!
From the pantry, we will be pulling canned carrots, green beans, and corn, as well as salt and pepper to taste. We will also be using beef broth, you can use fresh, canned, or bullion to create your broth…whatever works for you will work for the recipe.
The only fresh ingredient you’ll need to get is lean ground beef. I used 95% lean ground beef for the calculations and for this recipe. If you can get it leaner than that it might be a few fewer points if you care to recalculate!
How to make this quick and easy Weight Watchers hamburger soup:
Making this hamburger soup is kind of as easy as cooking the hamburger and then adding the vegetables. It’s a super simple soup that anyone can make!
In a large skillet, brown the hamburger until no longer pink then drain it completely of the grease.
Add in the vegetables, bone broth, and seasoning. Stir well.
Cover and let simmer on medium-low heat for about 30 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
It’s as simple as that…and you thought I might be kidding about that “easy” part, right?!
I use the Weight Watchers online recipe creator to get all my point values but as always, I recommend you recalculate for yourself if you have questions, make changes or substitutions, or just want to double-check that you get the same points that I did!
This recipe makes 8 Servings, if you divide it up differently be sure to recalculate to get accurate point counts for more or less servings!
