You can absolutely serve this Weight Watchers turmeric chicken over whatever base you like. Basmati rice is a classic choice for this dish but you can use brown rice, zoodles, cauliflower rice, or even just some fresh greens!

I like to serve this with rice but cauliflower rice is a great keto friendly option if you are cutting down on carbs. Using cauliflower rice, zoodles, or greens will definitely also cut down on points so if you are cutting it close, spend those points on chicken and keep the rice for another time!

Is this a gluten free recipe?

This recipe is naturally gluten free! You don’t have to make any changes to this turmeric chicken recipe in order to enjoy it on a gluten free diet which is great if you have allergies or sensitivities to worry about!

The marinade, rice, and seasonings are all free from gluten and shouldn’t have any additives that would contain trace amounts. I love finding and creating recipes that are gluten free so that as many people as possible can enjoy them.

What do I need to make Weight Watchers turmeric chicken?

To make turmeric chicken for Weight Watchers you will need plain Greek yogurt, olive oil, turmeric, ginger, lime juice, garlic, ground coriander, salt, boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked basmati rice, and some parsley for garnish! 

That might seem like quite the list but honestly everything is pretty simple to throw together and most of it is just the marinade for the chicken which packs in the flavor and moisture to make the end result pretty phenomenal!

How to make turmeric chicken for Weight Watchers:

In a bowl whisk the marinade ingredients until well combined and pour into a ziplock bag

Place chicken in bag and coat thoroughly

Marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hours but overnight is best

Bake at 400 for 30-45 minutes
