Mornings are definitely not my favorite time of the day. I stay up later than I should at night, so I end up dragging myself out of bed when the alarm clock rings. That being said, I wake up hungry! When you only have a few minutes to get ready and out the door (because you hit the snooze three times), you need quick and easy breakfast ideas.

Homemade Turkey Apple Cinnamon Sausage

Homemade Turkey Apple Cinnamon Sausage isn’t just quick and easy, it tastes amazing, too! On Sunday afternoon, I make the sausage, freeze and it’s ready to heat and go on busy mornings.

Again, we’re all about the easy. Our Homemade Turkey Apple Cinnamon Sausage recipes only has  three ingredients. Turkey Sausage, apple and cinnamon. You could easily substitute pork or chicken sausage, too.

In a large bowl mix two lbs sausage, two medium grated apples. (I used Gala apples) and One Tablespoon ground cinnamon until well blended.

Form mixture into two inch balls and flatten. I baked my patties, but you could grill or fry too. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 mins. ( I flipped them over after the first 10 minutes) Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees and their ready to eat! This batch made 20 patties, enough to last a whole month of morning work days!

I had no idea there was shelf stable yogurt! That would be awesome for our pantry! And even better for traveling snacks!

I love the sausage… I mean, it looks dicileous.I’m also jealous you have blood oranges, there they barely ever have them and when they do, they are old.
