Why shop at Walmart for Weight Watchers Green Plan?
I find that shopping at Walmart for Weight Watchers Green plan is about convenience as much as anything else. These Great Value products are low in points, easy to find at any Walmart…which means I can stay on track anytime AND they’re inexpensive.
For the most part, shopping these items allows me to save money on my weekly grocery bill which is always a huge plus.
How does the green plan for Weight Watchers Freestyle work?
With the new myWW program on Weight Watchers you get a customized number of points on whichever plan you choose. The Green Plan guides you with a smaller list of zero point foods.
You have more Smart Points to spend each day but those non-zero point foods are more costly on this plan than they are on other plans.
In truth the Green plan is more strict than the other plans and that is because some of us need the most guidance possible.
With the Green Plan you can rest easy knowing that you will have guidelines to help you stay on track while still having some zero point foods to fall back on when you are feeling hungry but don’t want to spend points!

If you are on the Weight Watchers program you should also have the Weight Watchers app. It’s fantastic.
I used the app and the online website for Weight Watchers to come up with this list of Great Value items from Walmart. It’s helped me decide which Weight Watchers foods to buy from Walmart for Green plan while also helping me stay on track with my goals.
I just printed out the Walmart Green list and it says WALMART GREEN PLAN on top but over the colums, it says Purple. I’m confused.
Hi, I fixed the headings. It was just a carryover from the Purple list formatting. It’s the GREEN PLAN and GREEN PLAN values as stated in the post and on the top and it’s updated now so you shouldn’t have any more issues 🙂
