Weight Watchers SmartPoints: The Only Weight Watchers Post You Need
One of the hardest things about any plan, including Weight Watchers Smart Points is starting something new. It can be hard to make that first step. If you are here, chances are you’ve already done that hard work! Another issue that some people have with the Smart Points program and Weight Watchers in general is that it can get kind of pricey. Smart Points has a similar program to the FlexPoints from versions past. While it’s great to have extra points one tip that I can’t stress enough is that you don’t have to use them! If you’re not hungry, you don’t need to eat them. They are great for if you go over your points for the day by splurging at a restaurant. It’s also a good idea to just totally forget about them and keep on plugging away without splurging. There’s power in the mental side dieting…if you know you have these extra points you’ll constantly be thinking about how you can use them to eat me. Just forget the points are there, use them only when you need to cover an overage!

As with any diet is pays to remember this key tips: it’s all about moderation! Weight Watchers Smart Points is a great plan because it is easy to follow, allows you a lot more flexibility and it focuses on helping you make lifestyle changes that will last. At the end of the day you have to remember that something like fresh fruit is going to cost you a whole lot less in Smart Points (as well as calories, fat, and guilt) than a brownie will. Smart Points helps teach you through point values what kinds of foods are a ‘Smart’ choice which is why the plan works so well.
Weight Watchers Freestyle SmartPoints Update
You might have noticed that Weight Watchers has updated their SmartPoints system to be the Freestyle SmartPoints program. Here is the info on the update and ways that you can be successful with this new program change.
The good news is that the SmartPoints system still stands. It’s the same tracking and weekly / daily system that we’re used to using. The major change that has occurred with the Freestyle SmartPoints update is the point values of many foods. There are now more than 200 foods that are completely free to consume. Another new feature of the Freestyle SmartPoints system is the rollover aspect. You can rollover up to 4 daily points into your weekly points “bank”. Now, I never used to use my weekly points allowance because my daily points more than covered me. With this new update a lot of us have been scaled back in terms of daily points. While many health and delicious foods are now 0 points, it can still be an adjustment. Don’t be afraid to tap into those weekly points which will not include your daily rollover of up to 4 unused points!
