You’ll need fresh sweet potatoes, sugar, garlic, plain fat-free greek yogurt, and salt and pepper to taste. Can you believe that’s it?! You’ll find that those simple ingredients come together really nicely to make a smooth, creamy, delicious side dish!
How to make mashed sweet potatoes:
First up we need to put the potatoes and garlic into a large saucepan! Next, cover the potatoes with water in the p an and put it on high heat. Bring the potatoes to a boil and keep them boiling for about 8 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
After the Weight Watchers mashed sweet potatoes are finished cooking drain them and put them into a large mixing bowl.
Mix in the yogurt and sugar. Mash until smooth and then season with salt and pepper! You can top with some greens or some gorgeous edible flowers!
The recipe makes 8 servings of 1/2 cup each!
